Police arrested 55-year-old Rambriksha Saafi of Kalyanpur Municipality-3 on July 9 on the charge of raping an 11-year-old girl. 

The victim's party filed a complaint on July 9 stating that the accused raped the girl on the same day. The victim's medical examination was done at District Hospital Siraha on July 9. 

According to SP Uma Prasad Chaturbedi of District Police Office Siraha, police arrested the accused and initiated action against him as soon as they received information about the incident.
