The arrested who were accused of black marketing have been identified as Suman Maharjan of Om Shivam Pharmacy near Gangalal Hospital, Sarita GC of Bheri Rapti Pharmacy from Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj for overcharging.
Similarly, Purna Prashad Siwakoti of Jhapa, Gobinda Luitel of Sijuwa-4 Morang, Hirakumar Chaudhary of Saptari, and Sanjiv Bhandari of Dumja-5 Sindhuli were arrested under the public offense act for misbehaving customers.
10 people from different places of the country have been arrested by the police in connection with black marketing and the mistreatment of customers. They were found overcharging on items including tarpaulins, essential goods, and medicines. Police informed that the arrested would be charged under the black marketing and public offense act if found guilty.
