Police arrested a man with a cache of marijuana and a pistol from Malhanama VDC in the district on Wednesday. A joint team from Armed Police Force Dantakali Battalion and the District Police Office raided the house of Chhotilal Bhandari and confiscated 115 kilograms marijuana, a pistol and two live bullets. The team had acted on a tip-off. The team also seized three mobile phones and took Bhandari into custody for necessary investigation and action as per the law, Deputy Superintendent of Police Dan Bahadur Karki said.
