Jhapa/May 30 A man at Damak-35 of Jhapa district has hacked his wife to Death on May 30 morning. Bhupal Rai, 40, attacked his wife Ganga with a khukuri while the later was sleeping this morning. He was in inebriated condition when he attacked his wife, DSP Bhuwaneshwar Tiwari informed. The couple had separated after dispute and the wife was living with her two sons and surviving by the income of her hotel. It is said that the accused arrived at Ganga’s shop at around 4 am and hit at her hand while she was opening the hotel, then proceeded to hit her neck, hand and head with the weapon. Rai is at large after the incident while police has launched a search to nab him.
