Armed Police Force arrested one person with a gun and its ammunition from Baudhamai municipality-7 of Rautahat district. Local Sheikh Mohammad was arrested with one air gun and 11 bullets on Thursday. He has been submitted to District Police Office for further action. High-level APF sources said they have increased vigilance in the district in view of the upcoming federal and provincial elections. Meanwhile, police arrested two persons for their involvement in a bomb explosion at Chandrapur Municipality-5 of the district. They have been named as Bishal lama and Hom Gautam, both of Paurai in Chandrapur-1. Police said initial investigation showed the arrestee were cadres of Netra Bikram Chand-led Communist Party of Nepal.
