Locals of Buddhabhumi Municipality-1, Kapilbastu, protested the act of building a covered hall on forest land. They accused the municipality had constructed the covered hall in Rajkuda Community Forest without taking permission of forest consumers committee from District Forest Office.

Similarly, locals have also protested against the  decision of allocating budget every year for the Supa Deurali temple built inside the Rajkuda forest. The agitated locals said the municipality is allocating budget against demands and priorities of the locals.
