The youths affiliated with 'Enough is Enough' started a hunger strike in front of the Nepal Police Club stating that they were arrested and abused illegally. Pukar Bam, Pramesh Shrestha, Samundra KC, Pawan Malla and Sujan Thapa were arrested from the southern gate of Singha Durbar on Wednesday afternoon while they were on their way to register Right to Information petition at the Home Ministry.
According to him, at around 7.30 pm, 20-25 police dragged them to the road in front of the club. According to Pukar, after filing the RTI petition, the Prime Minister, the Prime Minister's Office, the Home Minister, the Chief Secretary and the Home Secretary were preparing to file a case of property investigation and irregularities on Wednesday.
He condemned the police for abducting him and throwing him on the street. Kathmandu Police Spokesperson DSP Raj Kumar KC said that they were caught trying to protest in the restricted area.
