A person has committed suicide after attacking his mother-in-law with sharp weapon. 41-year-old Ram Bahadur Ramtel committed suicide after attacking his mother-in-law 71-year-old  Narmaya Bhujel in Gumba Marg Dharan Sub-metropolitan city ward-8, on  August 25 evening. Ram died on the spot after slitting his own throat by the same Khukuri with which he attacked his mother-in-law, injuring her. 

According to Dhan Bahadur Rai, Ward Chairman of Dharan sub-metropolitan city ward-8, the family members have informed that the wife of the deceased was having a dispute for some time and his wife is in Dubai. Police are further investigating the incident.
