A woman in Rupandehi district killed her husband in a fit of rage following a dispute over the latter's drinking habit. 19-year-old Asmita Thapa beat her husband Bijaya Thapa to death at Padasari-8 on Tuesday night. Police said Asmita admitted to striking her husband with a stone pestle after he refused her request to not to drink alcohol, added police. The victim returned home drunk during the night of the incident. Bijaya and Asmita have married a year ago.
