वीरेन्द्रनगर नगरपालिका-५ श्रीनगर टोलकी ३८ वर्षीया अपाङ्ग महिला बलात्कृत भएकी छन् । गिट्टी कुटेर जीविका  चलाउँदै आएकी ती महिलालाई छिमेकी प्रेम सार्कीले बलात्कार गरेको पीडितको भनाइ छ ।

 

पीडितको अनुसार सार्कीले विगत तीन महिनायता जबरजस्ती बलात्कार गर्दै आएका थिए । ३५ वर्षीय सार्कीले 'तिम्रो पति बुढो भयो पाल्न सक्दैन, म पाल्छु' भन्दै जबरजस्ती शारीरिक शोषण गर्ने गरेको पीडितको दावी छ ।

 

जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय सुर्खेतमा ०६९ कात्तिक १५ गते न्यायको लागि पुगेकी महिलाले घरमा कोही नभएको मौका छोपी सार्कीले जबरजस्तीकरणी गर्ने गरेको बताइन् । राम्रो सँग बोल्न नसक्ने र कान कम सुन्ने ती महिलाले पटक-पटक सार्कीबाट शारीरिक शोषण भएपछि आफूले पतिलाई भनेको र पतिले सार्कीलाई सम्झाउन खोज्दा उल्टै धम्की दिएको बताइन् ।

 

पीडितका पतिले भने, 'बिगत तीन महिनादेखि म घर नभएको मौका छोपेर सार्कीले मरो पत्नीको इज्जत लुट्ने गरेको रहेछ् त्यसो नगर्न भनी सम्झाउन खोज्दा उल्टै मलाई धम्की दिन्छ ।' सार्की पनि मजदुरी गर्छन् ।

 

यसैबीच जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय सुर्खेतले घटनाबारे मौखिक जानकारी आएको जनाएको छ । 'मौखिक जानकारी आधारमा भएपनि हामीले अनुसन्धान सुरु गरेका छौँ' जिप्रका सुर्खेतका इन्स्पेक्टर वीरेन्द्र यादवले भने अभियुक्तको खोजी भइरहेको छ, थप कुरा पछि थाहा हुन्छ ।'

A 38-year-old disabled woman of Srinagar Tole in BirendranagarN.P.5 has been raped. The victim, earning wage by crushing stones, accused her neighbor Prem Sarki, 35, of carrying out the act.

 

According to her, Sarki had been raping her for the last three months saying that her husband would not be able to support her anymore.

 

The woman, who arrived at the District Police Office on October 31, claimed that he would carry out the act when she was alone at home. She added that she told her husband after she could no longer bear and that when the husband tried to talk with him, Sarki intimated the couple.

 

The husband said, "Sarki was exploiting her and when I tried to stop him, he threatened me".

 

In response to the query, the DPO's Inspector Birendra Yadav said that they had received verbal information and that they had begun investigation on its basis.
