A 37-year-old woman from Kanchanpur VDC-9 killed her husband by striking him with an axe on Wednesday morning. Gita Magar killed her 40-year-old  husband Ram Bahadur Magar by attacking him with an axe during a domestic dispute at 8 am in the morning on Wednesday. According to Area Police Office Kohalpur, Ram Bahadur died while undergoing treatment at Kohalpur medical college in the evening. Meanwhile, the police arrested Gita for further investigation. During the investigation, Gita stated to the police that she killed her husband after facing constant abuse at the hands of her husband who used to come home drunk every day and torture her mentally. DSP Rajib Bahadur Basnet informed that they are further investigating into the incident.
