An elderly man died today morning after being attacked by a group of youth. The deceased is identified as 67-year-old Ishori Damai of Laxmipur VDC-2. Damai was seriously injured after being attacked this morning by a group of three youths gambling with his son. He passed away while undergoing treatment at Rapti Sub-regional hospital in Ghorahi, an informed spokesperson of DPO Dang, Krishna Sharma. According to the police, the three youths who were gambling with Damai's son last night attacked Damai today morning over a dispute that had ensued with his son. Police have started further investigation int the incident by arresting the attackers.
