Man kills his father while under the influence of alcohol in Baglung

Police arrested 23-year-old Hikmat Rana resident of Ratodanda in Dagatungdanda-6 VDC on the charges of killing his father. Hikmat's father Om Bahadur Rana, 53, died on the spot on Saturday after being hit with a wooden log by his son. Hikmat reportedly attacked Om Bahadur after he caused a ruckus in a drunken state. Police are further investigating the incident.
