२०६२ र ६३ को युगान्तकारी जनआन्दोलनपछि शान्तिप्रक्रियालाई निश्कर्षमा पुर्‍याउनु र संविधानसभाबाट नयाँ संविधान जारी गर्नु संक्रमणकालीन राजनीतिका मुख्य कार्यभारलाई संविधानसभामा प्रतिनिधित्व गर्ने दलहरूले लोकतान्त्रिक मूल्य र मान्यतालाई उपेक्षा गरिएको जनाउँदै २०६९ मंसिर ७ गते रत्नपार्क, शान्ति बाटिकामा दिउसो १:०० बजे राष्ट्रियता, लोकतन्त्र र सामाजिक न्यायका लागि 'नागरिक अभियान' ले बृहत् नागरिकसभाको आयोजना गर्ने भएको छ ।

राष्ट्रियता, लोकतन्त्र र सामाजिक न्यायका लागि 'नागरिक अभियान' का तर्फबाट वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता शभ्भु थापा, डा. केदार नरसिंह केसी र मुमाराम खनालको नामबाट ०६९ असोज २३ गते प्रेषित एक आहृवानपत्रमा अभियानबारे जानकारी गराइएको हो ।

संविधानसभाको अप्राकृतिक अवसानपछि चुलिँदै गएको राजनीतिक सङ्कटले धरासयी हुँदै गएको मुलुकको अर्थतन्त्र, निरन्तर बढिरहेको महङ्गी र आम नेपाली जनताका झन् झन् कमजोर हुँदै गएका जनजीविकाका आधारहरूका कारण मुलुक डरलाग्दो आर्थिक­ सामाजिक अराजकतातिर उन्मुख देखिएकोले नेपालका सबै राजनीतिक शक्तिलाई मुलुकप्रति संवेदशनशील भई अविलम्व सहमतिको मार्ग पहिल्याउन दवाव सृजना गर्ने उद्देश्यले सभाको आयोजना गर्न लागिएको आहृवानपत्रमा उल्लेख छ ।

Citizen's Campaign has said that a mass citizen's rally would be organized at Shanti Batika, Ratnapark at 1 pm on November 22.

Stating that the political parties representing Constituent Assembly had neglected the main responsibility of promulgating the new constitution through CA and taking the peace process following the revolutionary movement of 2006 to conclusion, 'Citizen's Rally' has called for the rally.

A letter calling for participation in the rally was issued by senior advocate Shambhu Thapa, Dr. Kedar Narsingh KC and Mumaram Khanal in the name of Citizen's Campaign for Nationality, Democracy and Social Justice on November 8.

According to the letter, the rally has been organized with a view to create pressure on all political parties of Nepal to find immediate ways for agreement as the country is heading towards a dangerous economic social anarchism due to the weakening base of livelihood of Nepali people caused by the rising inflation, deteriorating economy owing to the political crisis.
