The District Children welfare committee has rescued five children on May 30 from illegally operated children house at Sarlahi Netraganj-3. The children house was operated in a private house with the name of “ Asal Prayas Sewa Sadan Children House”. Three boys and one girl were rescued by the District Children Welfare Committee. Among the rescued children four boys were handed over to Children house at Hariban and one was handed over to his parents according to officer Ambika Paudel of women and children office. The District Administration Office of Sarlahi said that the children were rescued based on the information received that they were being used as domestic helper and were trained and compelled to follow Christianity. The DAO said that accused Romila Joshi will be charged for operating illegal children house. There are some Children house in the district who are operating illegally as per DAO. Santosh Kumar Singh
