Communist Party of Nepal-Maoist (CPN-M) led by Netra Bikram Chand (Biplav) has called for a general strike. CPN-M has called for a general strike (Bandh) in Mechi zone, Chitwan, Dhading, Nuwakot, and Rasuwa districts and Karnali zone on 03 June and a nationwide strike for 09 June.
