Police have arrested 40-year-old Indra Maya Rai of Tondoki, Dovane-7 and her father-in-law 66-year-old Dal Bahadur Rai on June 1 accusing them of killing an infant. According to the police, the infant was born as a result of the illicit relationship between Indra Maya and her father-in-law Dal Bahadur while her husband was in foreign employment. The infant was killed by them on May 30 according to the police. The villagers informed the police after they found a dead body of an infant on May 31 near the cornfield. According to DSP Ram Kumar Lamsal of District Police Office, both the accused were arrested and being investigated by the police based on the information.
