The administration and Finance section of Rupandehi FM in Bhairahawa has been padlocked in accusation of dismissing journalists without prior notice. According to President of Nepal Journalists Federation Rupandehi, Sher Bahadur K.C., they padlocked the office after their demand for reinstating dismissed journalists; Dipesh Pachai and Puspa Khanal was not met. The federation has informed that the protest will continue until the dismissed journalists are reinstated. Press Union, Press Chautari, Revolutionary Journalists' Association, Progressive Journalists' Association also have protested against the decision of Rupandehi FM to dismiss the journalists.
