A teacher at Janata Doma Chaudhary Higher Secondary School situated at Pokharbhinda-1, Siraha has beaten and abused a student. 16-year-old Upasana Shah was beaten by Kisun Dev Thakur in accusation of throwing a stone at him from behind. Upasana has denied throwing the stone. Her uncle has demanded action to be taken against the teacher. The school was closed on the pretext of discussing the incident. School principal Pashupati Yadav said that the classes would continue only after detailed discussion on the incident.
