रूकुम/फाल्गुन ५ प्रहरीले नेपाली कांग्रेसका दुली गा वि सका गा वि स अध्यक्ष कवितराम खत्रीको माध ३ गते हत्या गरेको अभियोगमा ऐ- नेकपा माओवादीका तीनजना कार्यकर्ताहरूलाई जेल चलान गरेको छ। अल बहादुर भट्ट, तुलबहादुर देवकोटा लगायतका लाई माघ २८ गते थुनामा राखिएको थीयो। कवितरामकी श्रीमती, रणमती खत्रीले माघ १० गते खत्रीको हत्या माओवादी कार्यकर्ताहरूले गरेको किटानी जाहेरी गरेकी थिईन्। नेपाली कांग्रेसले आरोपितहरू विरूद्ध कारवाहीको मांग गरेका छन्। निज आरोपितहरूले माघ १३ गते जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयसमक्ष आत्मसमर्पण गरेका थिए। ए-नेकपा माओवादीले भने नेपाली कांग्रेसले झुठो आरोप लगाएको भन्दै विरोध गरेका थिए। नेपाली कांग्रेसले भने पौष १ गते दुवै पक्षको बीचमा भएको झडपपछि खत्रीको हत्या गरिएको दावी गरेको छ। Rukum/February 16

Police have sent three UCPN-M cadres, accused in the killing of NC Duli Village chairperson Kabitram Khatri on January 16 to the jail on charge of killing Khatri.

 

The men including Al Bahadur batta, Tul Bahadur Devkota were remanded in custody on February 10. 

Ranamati Khatri, on January 23, Kabiram’s wife filed a claim that Khatri was killed by UCPN-M cadres.

NC is demanding action against the accused. They had surrendered to the police at District Police Office on January 26.

 

The UCPN-M has also been organizing protest claiming the NC’s charge was fabricated. NC claims that Khatri was killed on December 16, 2012 following a clash between the two parties.
