A team of APF on Saturday arrested an Indian national on the charge of attempting to abduct a Nepali girl to India. The arrested has been identified as Binod Rishidev, 30, resident of Rampur in Arariya Gram Panchayat-8 of India. A team of APF, Nepal Police and locals from Gaderiya of Nocha VDC-7 rescued the minor girl, 5-year-old Pratima Baitha from Rishidev's clutch on Saturday while he was attempting to take her to India. APF's Border outpost at Nocha had deployed a team after Pratima Baitha, daughter of Shri Prashad Baitha of Nocha VDC-6 in Morang was reported missing. The APF team and Nepal police arrested Rishidev from Nepal-India border. He is being held into the custody of Nepal police for further investigation.
