काठमाडौँ । फागुन १७ गते अज्ञात समूहद्वारा विद्यार्थी चढेको गाडीमा आगजानी गरेको छ । स्वयम्भुबाट विद्यार्थी लिएर बलाजुतर्फगइरहेको बा. १. प. ९११७ नम्बरको गोल्डेन गेट कलेजको गाडीमा ०६९ फागुन १७ गते विहान काठमाडौं मनपा-१५ सानो भर्‍याङ्गमा अज्ञात समूहले आगजानी गरेको हो । छ ओटा मोटरसाइकलमा आएका नकाबधारी व्यक्तिले बसलाई नियन्त्रणमा लिई पेट्रोल छर्किएर आगजानी गरेको र आगजानीका कारण बस पूर्ण रूपमा ध्वस्त भएको महानगरीय प्रहरी वृत बालाजुका इन्स्पेक्टर श्यामबावु ओलियाले बताए । घटनाको कारण कुनै मानवीय क्षति भने भएन । आगजानीको वास्तविक कारण खुल्न सकेको छैन । तर, क्रान्तिकारी विद्यार्थी युनयिनले गोल्डेन गेट कलेजमा आफ्नो युनियन खोल्नका लागि दबाव दिइरहेको अवस्थामा यस्तो आगजानी भएको बुझिएको छ, घटनाको अनुसन्धान जारी छ, महानगरीय प्रहरी परिसर हुनमानढोकाका प्रवक्ता तथा डीएसपी चक्रबहादुर सिंहले बताए । Kathmandu/ February 28

An unidentified group of people have set the bus with the students on fire on February 28. The bus with the number plate Ba 1 Pa 9117 belonging to Golden Gate College was heading with students from Swayambhu towards Balaju when the arson attack occurred near Sano Bharyang, Kathmandu Metropolitan-15 in the morning of February 28.

 

Six masked people, who came in motorbikes, stopped the bus and set it on fire. The bus has been completely destroyed due to the attack, according to Inspector Shyam Babu Oliya of Metropolitan Police, Balaju. There was no human casualty in the attack.

 

The purpose of the attack was still unknown. However the incident happened at the same time when the Revolutionary Student Union was pressurizing the school to open union in the college.

 

The incident of the attack is under investigation, according to DSP and spokesman of Hanuman Dhoka Police Station Chakra Bahadur Singh.
