Police on Friday arrested a person from Dang on charge of vandalizing a vehicle. Police arrested 27-year-old Govind BK from Chiraghat, Shantinagar VDC-1, on the charge of vandalizing a deluxe bus bearing plate number Na 6 Kha 1285. The bus which was heading towards Kathmandu from Dang belonged to Tulsipur Jeep and Micro Minibus Transportation Association. The arrested is thought to be associated with Rapti Public Transportation Entrepreneurs Association. According to the police, on June 10, BK travelled to Daunne in Nawalparasi on a bolero jeep belonging to Prakash Bhatta who is also affiliated with Rapti Public Transportation Entrepreneurs Association and pelted stone at the bus. DSP Prakashraj Sharma of DPO said that both BK and the jeep are being held in control of New Belhani Area Police Office for further investigation.
