Women rescued in Kanchanpur

Sana Haat, an NGO, rescued six women of Birtamod from a bus park in Mahendranagar on Friday. A team from the organization rescued them while being trafficked to India. It said Birkha Bahadur Limbu of Itahari, who runs a manpower agency in Kathmandu, had taken Rs 120,000 from each woman, promising to send them to the United Arab Emirates for employment as domestic help via New Delhi. All the rescued women are between the ages of 23 and 35 years. Police have arrested a woman of Chitwan from Banbasa, India for her involvement in the incident.
