The victim’s family of Tej Bahadur Suhang,58 of Subhang VDC-8 has lodged a complaint against two police of District Police Office on June 22 on the charge of beating him. They had lodged a complaint against ASI Bhale Bhujel of Women and children service centre and ASI Santosh Subba of Jorpokhari Police Post. The complaint states that the victim was tortured by the accused on June 10. He sustained several bruises over his body and undergoing treatment at B & C Hospital in Jhapa. DSP Krishna Prasad Koirala of District Police Office said that the investigation on those police officer is undergoing based on the complaint lodged. He added that if they were found guilty, departmental action will be initiated on them.
