Sabitra BK, 32, a resident of Topgachi7 and staying in Surunga4 has been killed by her husband Resham BK, 35, over a family dispute on March 2.

 

Resham killed her by hitting with a grinding stone in her head at around 3 am while she was staying in her brother-in-law Ramesh BK's home at Chandragadi8.

 

She died instantly when Resham attacked her with the grinding stone while she was sleeping.

 

DSP Mohan Bahadur Sharma of the District Police Office Jhapa said that search for the absconding Resham was underway. The couple has three children.

 

Final rites of the deceased was conducted on March 2 following post-mortem at the Mecha Zonal Hospital.
