Jhapa man kills mother over domestic dispute

A man killed his own mother with a dagger over a domestic dispute at Prithvi Nagar of Jhapa district on Monday.
Jhapa District Police Office said that 24-year-old Desh Raj Tamang of Prithvi Nagar VDC-2 attacked his mother 45-yer-old Taradevi with a dagger in the wee hours today.
Taradevi died on the spot after receiving an attack on her head, police said.
Police have arrested the son for investigation, informed the DPO Spokesperson DSP Hari Raj Sharma.
Desh Raj has already confessed to his crime, police added.
