Cadres of Netra Bikram Chand led Maoist party have smeared black on the face of an engineer at Kalikot District Development Committee on Monday. Around 15 cadres of the party took control of engineer Janak Rokaya while he was going towards the office from his apartment and smeared him black near the District Administration Office. Issuing a 9 point press release after the incident, the party accused the engineer of engaging in corruption in different projects in the district. They said that they had taken action against him after he took bribe from the consumers of the Karnali Employment project although the work on the project had not yet completed.
