Youth held on rape charge

Police on Friday arrested two persons for their alleged involvement in separate rape cases in Kathmandu. Ajit Raut (18), a resident of Kirtipur-4, was arrested on the charge of raping a six-year-old girl from his neighborhood.
In another case, 45-year-old Ghana Shyam Manandhar (45), a resident of Kirtipur-3, was arrested yesterday. Manandhar is accused of raping a woman in Thamel, KMC-29 on Thursday. Further investigation is underway.
