The District Court of Saptari has ordered to sentence Nurjahan Khatun,52 and her daughter Rubeda Khatun,21 for life on charge of murdering Sardul Miya Haque,55 former CA member of Kalyanpur VDC-2. Nurjahan Khatun was detained along with her daughter on charge of murdering her husband. A single bench of District Court judge Mahendra Prasad Pokhrel issued a verdict on a case. In a same incident, the court has also ordered to confiscate whole property of main accused Abdul Rauf,40 of Lahan Municipality-5 along with a life sentence. The central Investigation bureau of police had arrested the victim’s wife Nurjahan on June 7, 2013 and his daughter Rubeda on June 6 as a master mind of the murder. Similarly Rauf was arrested on June 6. The former CA member Haque was murdered in a petrol pump on May 20, 2013 while he was sleeping. The police investigation find out that three people came in a motorbike and murdered him. The victim was attacked with a sharp weapon on his throat. His dead body was recovered in the morning of May 21, at about 500m away from his house at Huma Oil traders at Khojpur VDC-7.
