Rupandehi/March 7 The District Police Office Rupandehi has said that Birendra Pasi, 35, of Gangapur in Padsari7 murdered his wife Sushila Pasi, 28, on March 6 night.

According to the police, Pasi killed his wife by attacking her with a sickle and lathi over a minor domestic dispute.

The accused has been taken into custody by police. Pasi has reportedly given a statement that he killed his wife in inebriated condition.

The victim was attacked with a lathi in her head while she has cut injuries in hand. Police recovered a sickle from the incident site.

The accused had informed family of the deceased after killing her. Family of Sushila had found her body under the bed next morning.
