A bomb has been detonated by an unidentified gang in Bageshwori Iron and Steel Private Limited at Parbatipur of Ganapur7 on December 15.

The bomb has caused minor damage to the southern wall of the industry, police said.

It has been found from inspection of the incident site that a box bomb was detonated targeting the industry, Uday Tamang, DSP at Banke District Police Office said. However, nobody has claimed responsibility of the explosion yet.

On June 10, 2010 Terai Jantantrik Party Madhes had detonated a pressure cooker bomb in the factory.
