नौ वर्षीया बालिकालाई जबरजस्ती बलात्कार प्रयास गर्ने नेपाली सेनाका हवल्दार धनकुमार राईलाई सेनाका विरोधका बाबजुद पनि प्रहरीले जबरजस्ती करणी उद्योग अन्तरगत ०६९ फागुन २८ गते मुद्दा चलाई अदालतबाट म्याद थप गरी अनुसन्धान शुरु गरेको छ ।

 

नेपाली सेनाले सैनिक ऐन अन्तरगत आफैले कारवाही गर्ने बताइरहँदा इलाका प्रहरी कर्यालय गोरुसिहेंले गंभिर मानवअधिकार हननका घटना, लागूऔषध र बलात्कार जस्ता मुद्दा प्रहरीले दायर गर्ने जनाएपछि कालिजंग गणका कर्णेल कुमार केसीले दोषी हवल्दार राईलाई प्रहरीको जिम्मा लगाएका थिए ।

 

जनताले ४, ५ घण्टा नाराजुलससहित व्यापक विरोध गरेपछि बाध्य भएर प्रहरीलाई बुझाएका थिए । प्रहरीले सबै प्रकृया पूरा गरी ०६९ फागुन २८ गते नै अदालतबाट म्याद थप गरी अनुसन्धानका लागि इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय गोरुसिंहेले काम थालेको छ ।

 

गिरफ्तार गर्दाको दिन जिल्ला प्रहरी हिरासतमा राखिएका राई अदालतबाट म्याद थपपछि गोरुसिहें इलाकामा हिरासतमा राखी अनुसन्धान थालिएको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयले जानकारी दिएको छ ।

Police have registered a rape attempt case against Nepal Army corporal Dhan Kumar Rai amid protests by Nepal Army. Police started investigation after remanding him in custody by the district court order on March 11 on charge of raping a 9-year-old girl.

 

Colonel Kumar KC of the Kalijung battalion handed the accused to the police after Area Polcie Office Gorusinghe informed that police registers the cases of serious human rights violations, narcotics and rape. The Nepal Army had initially said that they would charge the accused under the Army Act.

 

Locals had protested the incident which resulted in the handing over of the accused to the police.
