A person from Jaubari in Kyamin Tanahu is on the run after beating his mother to death on Saturday night. As cited to police by local witnesses, Junkiri Nepali, 75, immediately died after being beaten and thrust on the ground by her son Dev Kumar Nepali, 42. According to Inspector Bijayaraj Pandit, Dev Kumar had also assaulted his wife around a few days ago. Since then, he had been living with his mother. Police are looking for Dev Kumar who immediately went on the run after murdering his mother. Meanwhile, the victim's body was brought to Damauli hospital by a team of police who reached the site of incident for investigation. तनहुँ क्यामिन जौबारीमा आमाको हत्या गरी एक युवक फरार छन् । स्थानीय करिब ४२ वर्षका देवबहादुर नेपालीले आमालाई कुटपिट गरी शनिबार राती फरार भएको प्रत्यक्षदर्शीलाई उद्धृत गर्दै प्रहरीले जानकारी दिएको छ । कुटपिटपछि छोराले आमालाई लडाएपछि करिब ७५ बर्षीया आमा जुनकिरीको घटनास्थलमै मृत्यु भएको प्रहरी निरीक्षक विजयराज पण्डितले बताए । केही दिनअघि श्रीमतीलाई समेत कुटपिट गरे पछि आमा र छोरा मात्र घरमा बस्दै आएका थिए । घटनालगत्तै फरार देवबहादुरको प्रहरीले खोजी गरिरहेको छ । सम्भावित स्थानमा उनको खोजी भइरहेको प्रहरी निरीक्षक पण्डितले बताए । घटनाको केही घण्टापछि आइतबार बिहानै घटनास्थलमा पुगेको प्रहरीले मृतक वृद्धाको शव दमौली अस्पताल ल्याएको छ ।
