An elderly woman from Jedwang-8 in Rolpa has been arrested by the police on the charge of murdering a 10-year-old boy. 60-year-old Manasari Bika was arrested by the police for allegedly killing 10-year-old Dinesh Budha who is a relative of the elderly woman. The deceased boy was found dead, hanging from a tree near the accused woman's house. Suspecting foul play into the death of the boy, police arrested the elderly woman. The dead body was sent to District hospital at Reugha for postmortem. Inspector Keshar Bahadur Basnet of District Police Office Rolpa said that the court has extended the remand of the woman by a week to further investigate. बालकको हत्या गरेको आरोपमा रोल्पामा एक जना वृद्धा पक्राउ परेका छन् । रोल्पा जेदवाङ–८ का ६० वर्षे मनसरी विकले नाताले नाती पर्ने रोल्पा सखी–२ १० वर्षे दिनेश बुढाको हत्या गरेको आरोपमा प्रहरीले उनलाई पक्राउ गरेको हो । घर नजिकैको रुखमा बालक भुन्डिएर मरेको भनि स्थानीयले प्रहरीमा खबर गरेपछि प्रहरी टोलीले शवलाई पाष्टमार्टमका लागि जिल्ला अस्पताल रेउघा लगेको थियो । बालकको रहस्यमय तरिकाले ज्यान गएको भन्दै जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय रोल्पाले बालककै माइतीकी हजुरआमा पर्ने मनसरीलाई पक्राउ गरेको हो । प्रहरीले जिल्ला अदालत रोल्पामा एक हप्ताको म्याद थपेर अनुसन्धान गरिरहेको जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय प्रवक्ता प्रहरी निरीक्षक केशवबहादुर बस्नेतले जानकारी दिनुभयो । मृतक बालक मामाको घरमा बस्दै आएका थिए ।
