Woman beaten to death over 'witchcraft'

A 40-year-old woman was beaten to death on charge of practicing witchcraft at Naubasta-9 in Banke on Thursday. Police said Ram Kumar Tharu,22, had attacked Dandi Tharu with the wood plank accusing her of practicing witchcraft to render his wife blind. Dandi died on the way to the hospital. Ram Kumar is on run.
