KATHMANDU: Police raided two night clubs in the wee hours on Saturday and arrested 136 persons‚ including women‚ for allegedly violating the local provision that prohibits public gathering after midnight. According to DSP Chakra Bahadur Singh‚ 23 persons were arrested from Platinum Club in Durbar Marg and 113 from Fire Club in Thamel after locals lodged complaints against the discotheques for disturbing peace at night. --- The raid was carried out under the supervision of one Inspector Bhandari (direct report).
