खुर्कोट गाविस-४ की दिपकला रेग्मीले आफूलाई सासु लीलावति रेग्मी लगायत परिवारका सदस्यहरूले घरमा कुटपिट गरी यातना दिएको भनी जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय पर्वतमा ०६९ चैत ३ गते उजुरी दर्ता गरेकी छिन् ।

 

४५ वर्षीय दिपकला रेग्मीलाई विद्यालयको काम सकी बेलुका ६ बजे घरमा पुगेलगत्तै सासु लीलावति रेग्मी, देवरनी लक्ष्मी रेग्मी, छोराहरू शंकर रेग्मी र अर्जुन रेग्मीले कुटपिट गरेको पीडितले बताइन् । आफ्नो हारगुहार सुनेर गाँउलेहरू र स्थानीय व्यक्तिहरूको सहयोगमा बाँच्न पुगेको पीडित दिपकला रेग्मीले भनिन् ।

 

छुटाछुट्टै भान्सामा आफनो आफनो काम गरी खाँदै आएकोमा सगोलको पैत्रिक सम्पत्ति सासु लिलावतिले एकलौटी रुपमा देवरानीलाई वकसपास गरी दिएको अवस्थामा थाहा पाई जिल्ला अदालतमा अंशसहित वकसपत्र बदर गरी पाँउ भनी मुद्दा ०६९ असोजमा दर्ता गरी कानुनी प्रक्रिया अगाडि बढिरहेको अवस्थामा आफूलाई कुटपिट गरिएको पीडित रेग्मीले बताइन् ।

 

पीडितले जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयमा दिएको निवेदनलाई प्रहरी निरिक्षक विजयराज पण्डितले घाँजाचका लागि पर्वत जिल्ला अस्पतालमा पठाएको मुद्दा शाखाका असई टिका पोख्रेलले भने ।

 

हिमालय उच्च मावि खुकोटमा विद्यालय सहयोगीको रुपमा काम गदै आएकी दिपकला रेग्मी घरमा पुगेको अवस्थामा घरबाट निकाली दिने धम्कीसहित परिवारका सबै सदस्यहरूले एक्कासी आक्रमण गरी कुटपिट गरेको उनले बताइन् ।

 

पति र सौता ०४० साल देखिनै भारतको गुहावटीमा पेशा गदै आएका र आफूतर्फकुनै सन्तान नभएका कारण एउटै घरको कोठामा बस्दै आएको पीडित रेग्मीले भनिन् ।

Deepkala Regmi, 45, of Khurkot4 has filed a complaint against in-laws including mother-in-law Lilawati Regmi at District Police Office on March 16 accusing them of inflicting physical torture on her. She said that her mother-in-law Lilawati, sister-in-law Laxmi, sons Shankar and Arjun around 6 pm when she reached home from school adding she escaped serious injuries after the neighbors arrived hearing her pleas for help.

 

Regmi said that the assault came at a time when she had filed a case at the District Court on October 2012 asking for annulling Lilawati’s decision to transfer the ancestral property in Laxmi’s name and demanding her share in the property.

 

Working as a helper at Himalayan Higher Secondary School in Khurkot, Regmi has been living in a rented room for nearly 30 years after her husband had second marriage and got settled in Guwahati in India with his second wife.

 

Inspector Bijay Raj Pandit has forwarded her appeal to District Hospital for check up of her injuries.

Madhav Raj Pandeya
