Garud dal gand, Air Security Battery and army personnel working at Kotkhana of Army barrack are under supervision for investigation. Since the day, they are not allowed to contact their families. Army has been raiding the houses of the suspects at night to search the weapons and have not been allowed family members to call other relatives. The family members are scared of the raid. सुदुरपश्चिम पृतना मुख्यालयबाट हतियार गाएब भएको विषयमा छानबिन गर्न भन्दै पृतनामा कार्यरत सेनाका घरमा छापा मर्न थालेपछि तिनका परिवारहरु त्रसित भएका छन् । गत साउन ३१ गते सेनाको सुदुरपश्चिम पृतना मुख्यालयबाट १ थान एस एम जी राइफल, त्यसका २ थान लोडेड म्यागजिन र २ सय ८८ राउण्ड गोली गाएब भएको थियो । छानबिन गर्ने भन्दै पृतना भित्र रहेका गरुडदल गण, हवाई सुरक्षा ब्याट्री र पृतनाको कोतखानामा कार्यरत सैनिक जवानहरुलाई कडा निगरानीमा राखिएको छ । हतियार हराएको दिनदेखि उनीहरु संग सम्पर्क हुन नसकेको र भेट्न पनि नदिइएको पीडितका परिवारहरुले बताएका छन् । हतियार खोज्न भन्दै रति एक्कासी सेना र प्रहरीको टोलि घरभित्र छिरेर छानबिन गर्न थालेपछि आफुहरु त्रसित भएको पृतनामा कार्यरत सैनिक हवल्दार गणेशबहादुर कठायतकी श्रीमती उत्तमा कठायतले बताईन । उत्तमाको जस्तै अरु परिवार पनि सोहि अवस्थाबाट पिडित भएको धनगढी पोस्ट लाई जानकारी गराएका छन् । यसअघि हतियार गायब प्रकरण पछि निगरानीमा रहेका सैनिक हवल्दार दीपबहादुर खड्काको गोली लागी मृत्यु भएको अवस्थामा लास फेला परेको थियो। सुरक्षा निकायले उक्त घटनालाई आत्महत्या भनेको छ भने परिवारले मृतकको सरिरमा निलडाम हरु देखिएको परिवारले बताएको छ । यस घटनासंगै निगरानीमा भएका भनिएका सैनिक कर्मचारीहरुलाई व्यापक यातना दिइएको स्रोतले जनाएको छ ।
