महादेव उमावि राराकाटियामा सञ्चालित एसएलसी परीक्षामा सुरक्षार्थ खटिएको टोलीले दाँहा गाविस-४ का १३ वर्षीय मदन शाहीलाई ०६९ चैत ६ गते निर्घात कुटपिट गरेको छ । प्रहरी हवल्दार रमेश रानाको नेतृत्वमा खटिएको टोलीको कुटपिटबाट बालक शख्त घाइते भएका छन् ।

 

परीक्षामा आफन्तको सहयोगका लागि परीक्षा केन्द्रमा आएका बालक शाहीलाई प्रहरीले चिट चोराएको आरोपमा लाठी र बुटले कुटपिट गरेको पीडितका आफन्त धिरेन्द्र शाहीले वताए ।

 

कुटपिटबाट टाउको र छातिमा गम्भीर चोट लागेका घाइते शाहीको स्थानीय मेडिकलमा प्राथमिक उपचारपश्चात् जिल्ला अस्पताल ल्याउँदै गरेको बताइएको छ । घटनाका बारेमा डीएसपी रमेश पोखरेलले आफुलाई जानकारी नभएको प्रतिक्रिया दिए ।

 

घटनास्थल जिल्ला सदरमुकामबाट करिब एक दिनको पैदल दुरीमा अवस्थित छ ।

Madan Shahi, 13, of Danha VDC-4 has been severely beaten on March 19 by the policemen deployed for the security of the SLC examination being conducted in the Mahadev Higher Secondary School Rarakatiya.

The group of security personnel under the command of head constable Ramesh Rana seriously injured the victim.

The victim was kicked and beaten by baton on charge of helping his relative cheat during the SLC examination, according to Dhirendra Shahi, the victim’s relative.

The victim sustained serious head and chest injury due to the beatings. He was taken to the district hospital after primary treatment in a local medical shop.

DSP Ramesh Pokharel expressed ignorance about the incident.

The incident site is about a day's walk from the district headquarters.
