A newborn was found dead on a bank of Hanumante River in Thimi of Bhaktapur district on Friday. Police said the infant appears to be around three-day-old. They have not revealed sex of the child. The body was wrapped in a blanket and left on the bank nearby an iron bridge in Thimi Nayabasti, Anantalingeshwor-9 of the district.
