A press release issued by the UCPN-Maoist Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal on March 21 stated that some people have increase anti-peace activities in the name of human rights and civil movement when the country has entered into the environment for second Constituent Assembly elections.

 

UCPN-Maoist chairperson Prachanda said that the incident that happened during the armed conflict must be decided by TRC.

 

He further claimed that Dhungel had been working as a young leader in his party since 1986 and all the allegations against him are false.

 

The then constituent assembly member Bal Krishna Dhungel of Pokali2, Okhaldhunga has been convicted and sentenced for life by the Supreme Court for  killing Ujjan Kumar Shrestha of Okhaldhunga on June 24, 1998.The victim’s families are protesting for the justice with the help of human rights activists and civil society demanding implementation of SC verdict.
