Two teenagers being taken to India rescued from Baitadi

Two teenagers, who were reportedly being led to India with fake promises, were rescued by police from Baitadi district on Thursday. They have been identified as Ramesh Khadayat (14), son of Gopal Khadayat, and Roshan Khadayat (15), son of Pirjan Khadayat, both residents of Khadayat village in Bhumiraj-8, Baitadi, informed DSP Bal Nagarsingh Rana of the District Police Office. Arrangements are being made to hand over the kids to their parents, he further added. They were spotted at a bus park in Gothalapani of Baitadi and were interrogated by police, just to find that they were told to run away to India. Police had also rescued 29 other children from Baitadi last Wednesday. Among them, five children from Baitadi have been handed over to their relatives already while 16 from Bajhang would be handed over to their parents today, informed police.
