पाँखा गाविस ८ निवासी एमाले सोही गाउँ कमिटी सचिव जनकवहादुर शाहीमाथि कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताहरूले चक्कु र फालमको रड प्रहार गर्दा गम्भीर घाइते भएका छन् ।

शाही गाविस भवनवाट आफ्नो फोटोसहितको मतदाता नामावली दर्ता गरी घर फर्कने क्रममा ०६९ चैत १६ गते साँझ चौखोला भन्ने स्थानमा लुकेर बसेका कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताहरू मनराज शाही, नरजित शाही, दिपराज शाही लगाएत सात जनाको समूहले टाउकोमा फलामको रड र चक्क प्रहार गरेका हुन् ।

पीडितको टाउको, हात, छात्ती र ढाडमा गम्भीर चोट लागेको छ । घाइतेको जिल्ला अस्पताल कालिकोटमा उपचार भइरहेको छ ।

बाटोमा हिड्दै गर्दा एमाले भएर नेता बन्ने भन्दै मार्ने योजनाका साथ एक्कासि आक्रमण गर्दा म चिच्याएपछि उनीहरू भागेका थिए, पीडितले भने ।

पीडकहरू हाल फरार अवस्थामा छन् । एमाले गाउँ कमिटी पाखाले ०६९ चैत १७ गते विज्ञप्ति प्रकाशन गरी घटनाको निन्दा गरेको छ । गाउँ कमिटी अध्यक्ष गोविन्द मल्लद्वारा हस्ताक्षरित विज्ञप्तिमा कांग्रेसका सोही गाविस सभापति मुकेश शाहीको योजनामा एमाले गाउँ सचिवमाथि आक्रमण गरिएकोले पीडकलाई पक्राउ गरी कानूनी कारवाही नगरिए घटनाको बदला लिने बताइएको छ ।

यसका वारेमा जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय कालिकोटका इन्सपेक्टर चिरञ्जीवी दाहालले घटना गम्भीर भएको हुनाले घटनाको बारेमा जानकारी हुनासाथ घटनामा संलग्नहरूलाई पक्राउ गर्न दुइ ओटा प्रहरी टोली खटाइसकिएको बताए । यता नेपाली कांग्रेस पाँखा गाविस सभापति शाहीले घटनामा आफनो संलग्नता नरहेको बताएका छन् ।

UML village committee secretary Janak Bahadur Shahi of Pakha8 has been seriously injured in the attack by NC cadres.

Seven NC cadres, including Manaraj Shahi, Narjit Shahi, Dipraj Shahi lied in wait for Janak and attacked him at Chaukhol with rod and knife while he was returning home after registering his name in the voter's list on March 29.

 

The victim has sustained serious injuries to his head, hand, chest and back. He is undergoing treatment in the District Hospital.

 

According to the victim, the assailants attacked him saying that he had become a leader despite being affiliated to UML. He added that the group fled the scene after he shouted for help.

 

UML village committee Pakha has condemned the incident issuing a pres statement on March 30.

Inspector Chiranjibi Dahal of the District Police Office said that two police teams were deployed to arrest the assailants.

 

Meanwhile, NC Pakha village president has denied the party's involvement in the incident.
