6 held after 3 hurt in Baneshwor knife attack

Police have arrested six suspects for their alleged involvement in stabbing three persons in Baneshwor of Kathmandu on Tuesday. Anish Khatri (17) of Baneshwor, kMC-34 along with five others was arrested, police informed. The suspects had stabbed three persons with a knife near the Baneshwor Campus yesterday. The victims have been identified as Bikram Ghale Magar (25), Bikram Rai (25) and Samir Limbu (21), all permanent residents of Rupandehi, currently living in a squatters’ settlement in Baneshwor. They were initially taken to the Tinkune-based Kantipur Hospital for treatment, but Rai and Magar were later referred to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for further treatment.
