A stray bomb has been found in Chautara VDC on December 6.

Sutali bomb, which might be abandoned during the decade long armed insurgency, was found near the office of Samaj Uttthan Sangh today.

Construction workers found the bomb in the course of digging the ground to constructing a house, Sujan Kumar Rajbhandari, Inspector at Sindhupalchowk District Police Office said.

Police said that that a disposal squad of Nepal Army from Chautara based Gorakhdal Battalion of NA is arriving in bomb recovered site to defuse it.
