सप्तरी । चैत २१ गते

सदरमुकाम राजविराज-७ स्थित सप्तरी कारागारमा ०६९ चैत २० गते विहान बन्दीहरूबीच झडप हुँदा सात जना बन्दी घाइते भएका छन् । आफूले भनेको नमानेको भन्दै जेलभित्रका मुल नाइके विकेशकुमार साहको समूहले एक्कासि बन्दीहरुलाई दाउराको चिर्पटले आक्रमण गरेको थियो ।

झडपमा मकवानपुर हेटौडाका राजेन्द्र लामा भन्ने राजेन्द्र मोक्तान, उदयपुर गाईघाटका विदुर भन्ने विनोद भट्टराई, मोरङ उर्लाबारीका राजेश्वर लिम्बु, भाइनाइको झापाका ज्ञाने योगेश भन्ने ज्ञानेन्द्र राई, इलामका टिलेन भन्ने ढिले शेर्पा, राजविराजका टिंकु भन्ने गणेशप्रसाद सिंह र विकेश चौधरी भन्ने विकेशकुमार साह घाइते भएका छन् ।

घाइतेहरूमध्ये अधिकांशको टाउको, हात र शरीरका विभिन्न ठाउँमा चोट लागेको छ । जसमध्ये विकेश र ढिलेको अवस्था गम्भीर रहेकोले उनीहरूलाई न्युरो अस्पताल विराटनगरमा र टिंकुको राजविराजस्थित सगरमाथा अञ्चल अस्पतालमा उपचार भइरहेको जेलर प्रमेश झाले बताए ।

स्थानीय र पुराना कैदीहरू कृष्णदेव मेहता, धिरु यादव, सुनिल यादव, भोला यादव, जितेन्द्र यादव, रामकृष्ण चौधरी, उमेश यादव, चन्दु मुखिया, जागेश्वर खेरवार, आशाराम मण्डललगायतले बाहिरबाट आउने नयाँ बन्दीहरूलाई सामान्य विषयमा पनि यातना दिने र पैसा असुल्ने गरेको घाइते बन्दीहरूले बताए ।

कारागारभित्र व्याप्त गलत क्रियाकलापको विरोध गरेका कारण बिहानको खाना खाने समयमा पछाडिबाट एक्कासि आफूहरू माथि आक्रमण भएको घाइतेहरूले बताएका छन् ।

घाइते पाँच बन्दीहरूलाई अस्पतालले डिस्चार्ज गरेपनि कारागारभित्र प्रवेश गर्न नदिए पछि राजेन्द्र मोक्तान, विनोद भट्टराई, राजेश्वर लिम्बु, ज्ञानेन्द्र राई, सप्तरी फत्तेपुरका रबीन तामाङ र सुनसरी झुम्काका विष्णु धामीलाई इलाका प्रहरी कार्यालय रुपनीमा राखिएको छ ।

At least seven inmates have been injured in the clash between the inmates of Saptari prison in RajbirajN.P.7on April 20. The main leader of the inmates Bikesh Kumar Shah’s group had attacked the inmates with a wooden stick accusing them of not obeying him.

 

Rajendra Moktan of Hetauda in Makwanpur, Binod Bhattarai alias Bidur of Gaighat in Udayapur, Rajeshor Limbu of Urlabari in Morang, Gyanendra Rai, Dhile Sherpa, Ganesh Prasad Singh alias Tinku of Rajbiraj and Bikesh Chaudhary were injured during the clash.

 

Most of injured sustained injuries to their head, hand and leg. Among them, Bikesh and Dhile’s condition remained critical. Both of them are getting treatment at Neuro hospital in Biratnagar, according to the jailer Pramesh Jha.

 

The injured inmates complained that the new inmates are being tortured and harassed by the old inmates in the jail. They were suddenly attacked while having a lunch because of the protest by the new inmates.

 

The five of the inmates have been discharged from the hospital and were transferred to the jail in Fattehpur and area police office of Rupani after they were not allowed to enter inside the prison.
