Police have arrested 19-year-old Ramesh Tamang on December 1 on the charge of murder of 45-year-old Pratima Amatya, a resident of Purano Bazar in Bidur Municipality-10 of Nuwakot. Police arrested Tamang after it was revealed that Pratima had been living with Tamang before she went missing on May 16, 2016. During police interrogation, Tamang confessed that he had buried Pratima at the jungle in Gogane of Fikuri-8 in Nuwakot. Upon digging the site Tamang had pointed, police recovered a decapitated body. Police are further investigating on the incident. बिदुर नगरपालिका–१० पुरानो बजार बस्ने ४५ वर्षीया प्रतिमा अमात्यको हत्या गरेको अभियोगमा रसुवा ठुलोगाँउका १९ वर्षीय रमेश तामाङलाई प्रहरीले पक्राउ गरेको छ । गत जेठ ३ गते देखि हराएकी अमात्यको खोजतलास गर्ने क्रममा रमेश तामाङसँग बस्दै आएको खुल्न आए पश्चात् प्रहरीले तामाङलाई मंसिर १५ गते काठमाडौको बालाजुबाट पक्राउ गरी सोधपुछ गर्दा अमात्यको हत्या गरी नुवाकोट फिकुरी–८ गोगने जंगलमा गाडेको बताएका थिए । जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालय नुवाकोटबाट मंसिर १६ गते खटिएको प्रहरी टोलीले उनले बताएको स्थानमा उत्खनन गर्दा टाउको नभएको शव फेला परेको थियो । यस सम्बन्धमा प्रहरीले अन्य आवश्यक अनुसन्धान गरिरहेको छ ।
