FNJ Saptari protests ‘police mistreatment’

The Saptari chapter of Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) has started a protest against alleged manhandling and mistreatment of journalists by Superintendent of Police Dibesh Lohani when Indian yoga guru Ramdev’s visited Chinnamasta Temple on November 26. The FNJ has demanded for SP Lohani’s transfer within 48 hours. The journalists in the district wore black bands as a symbol of protest on Friday. They have warned of strong protest if their demand goes unheeded. (PR)
