Ram Prasad Deshar, 50, a resident at Seraphant of Chapagaun2 has been arrested alleging that he raped a seven-year-old girl of Jharuwarashi9 on December 21.

Police said that Deshar was arrested after Shushila Timalsina, mother of the victim minor girl filed a FIR at Metropolitan Police Range , Chapagaun on December 20, police said.

Health checkup of the minor was carried out at Patan hospital while Deshar has been remanded in custody for seven more days following an order for Lalitpur District court today, police said. <
